Send a verified request
Email jessejr@decentre.io with the subject Pathfinder account deletion request.
Include:
- the signed-in Google email address used for Pathfinder;
- that your request concerns Pathfinder and package
io.decentre.pathfinder; - whether you want the whole account deleted or are asking about particular records.

What happens next
- We acknowledge the request, normally within five working days.
- We verify identity against the signed-in email and server-bound Pathfinder account.
- We identify data in Firebase Auth, Firestore and the Pathfinder backend.
- We delete eligible records and record any legal, security, accountability, provider or backup exception.
- We send the outcome within one calendar month where possible, or explain a lawful extension.

Records covered
A full verified request is assessed across:
- Firebase Authentication identity and Firestore policy-acceptance records;
- student profile, corrections, preferences and Pathfinder choices;
- durable backend conversation history and related subject-scoped state;
- saved Pins and pin events;
- account sessions, policy and rights records;
- eligible operational, provider, audit and backup records.
We may retain a limited record where law, security, fraud prevention, policy acceptance or deletion accountability requires it. Backups can remain until normal expiry; restored data is subject to the recorded deletion outcome. We explain retained or deferred groups in our reply.

What does not delete the account
The current Pathfinder app has no self-service destructive account-deletion control. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your Pathfinder account. Unpinning an item removes that saved reference, not the account or the underlying public source. Deleting your Google account is also separate from asking Decentre to delete Pathfinder backend records.
